Hardy late winter cabbage with pretty outer leaves and a crunchy texture  and  sweet flavour, needs only light cooking.
 
Known as chou de milan de pontoise in france and has been  cultivated in England since 1867.
 
This is a really hardy winter cabbage, not even severe frost seems to bother it.
