It's a great time to plant field grown bare rooted wallflower plants right now. There is no fear of the plants drying out for lack of moisture like planting during a dry spell. Adequate rainfall and cooler weather will ensure they flourish. However, this year's crop of plants are in short supply so when they are gone, they are gone!
Nero Toscana and Scarlet Curly Kale Borecole are easy to grow varieties which also could be planted for a late crop of excellent tasty greens.
