Our Calabreze De Cicco is an heirloom Broccoli, an old Italian quick growing variety for spring or autumn cropping. Once the main head is cut many tender side shoots will produce until later in the year.
 
Calabrese quickly goes from a green spear to a flower head. If you have too many to use for immediate consumption,  you can cut and freeze for winter use.
 
Harvest: July - October
 
Nutritional Values: Excellent source of vitamins A and C and a good source of iron.
