Celebrating 100 Years of Growing Tomorrow's Dinner with Cornish Cabbage Plants 🌱

To our wonderful valued customers,

Can you believe it's been 100 years since Granfer Sanders first planted the seeds of our beloved Cornish Cabbage Plants?

Our century-long journey tells a story filled with love for the land, dedication to quality and tradition, and a passion for bringing the hardiest field grown Brassica plants to your gardens.

To mark this incredible milestone, we're thrilled to announce that we'll be at The Royal Cornwall Show this year! It will be the perfect opportunity to chat, share gardening tips, and celebrate our shared love for all things green and growing.

We will be the first vegetable stand at The Royal Cornwall Show for many years, so mark your calendars for June 6th - 8th and we will see you in the flower tent!

Our first sowing of 2024 are now taking root, promising bountiful harvests to come. And for those craving a taste of last year's goodness, we still have some overwintered Spring Cabbage Plants available, ready to be hand-pulled and grown on in your plot for summer eating.

Don't forget to explore our greenhouse offerings, where you'll find a delightful selection of "Baby Brassicas", Salad Leaves, Herbs and Flowers! Plus even more from Penny royal to Welsh onion, Lovage to Sweet peas, and plenty more to discover on our website.

As we kick off the season, our fields are already bustling with activity, and we're embarking on an exciting project to document the journey from seed to harvest.

Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming videos and content, capturing every step of the farming process. We can't wait to share our journey with you all!!

Finally, a huge thank you to you all for being part of our journey over the past 100 years. Here's to many more seasons of growth, laughter, and shared moments in the garden. We couldn't do it without you.

Happy gardening!

Warm regards,

The Cornish Cabbage Plants Team
